Improvement of Stress Resistance in Fish & Shrimp
In spite of a farmer's skills, fish and shrimp are often subjected to stressful conditions. Poor soil conditions, water pollution, oxygen depletion, high or low temperature, sorting, transfer, salinity shock, pathogen outbreaks are among the stressful events that aquatic animals commonly experience throughout their lives. Stress makes animals weaker and it may also have a direct impact on their performance and well-being.
- IMMUTECH helps fish & shrimp deal with the stress they are likely to experience in the context of rearing.
- IMMUTECH is a mix of antioxidants, vitamins and yeast extracts. It is designed to provide aquatic animals with essential elements before and after stressful periods.
IMMUTECH dosage can be tailored depending on the stress level and its duration. We recommend an incorporation of 3 to 5 kg per ton of feed for prolonged application. The dosage can be increased up to 7 kg/t for a short period of time in the event of accute stress.
Application of IMMUTECH on a fortnight basis is generally sufficient. This product can be used by both feed millers or farmers (addition by coating).
IMMUTECH is presented in powder form. It is available in 25 kg plastic bags.
